This project involved developing cyanotype prints  With the help of Photoshop, I applied minimal digital enhancement to transform these prints into surface designs, carefully preserving the authentic textures and tonal depth characteristic of cyanotype. This project was created for the brand Zouk, highlighting the natural beauty of cyanotype in a refined surface pattern.
These are all the blocks created for printing with flowers, leaves, twigs, and veins, designed to form compositions that can be repeated for surface design. Each block was handcrafted to capture the intricate details of natural elements, allowing for unique and organic patterns to be transferred onto fabric.
PRINT EXPLORATION
FINAL PRINT
This print was designed with minimal manipulation of the blocks, preserving their natural essence as a tribute to their original form. Named “Polaroid,” it reflects the habit of keeping flowers in diaries, resembling a collage of handpicked, cherished blooms. The design captures the sentimentality of preserved memories in a single print.
